"Every morning in December became a little ritual. My kids race downstairs to open the day's box before school. It turned the whole month into an event instead of just one big day."
"The variety is the standout. Characters, animals, food shapes, festive ones — it never felt repetitive across the 24 days."
"Bought it for myself at 34 and regret nothing. Twenty-four small moments of silly joy in the worst month of the year for stress."
"Two kids, two sets of mocks, a lot of tears over maths. I bought this as a distraction and it worked. Twenty-four little things to look forward to, and neither of them lost interest even at the worst of the revision. Worth it for the mornings that started with a squishy instead of an argument."
"I bought two so my daughter and I could open matching days together. Best 44 bucks I've spent on a shared activity."
"Do the math: 24 individual squishies for that price works out cheaper than buying them separately, plus you get the countdown built in."
"Perfect desk companion for December. One squishy per workday, and it genuinely broke up the grind."
"We used it as the reward: finish your notes, then open the day's box. It became a routine and gave him something to aim at, which is half the battle when they're fried. He went into his last week calmer than usual, and it runs to Christmas Eve so it carries them over the line."
"The suspense is genuinely good. You can't tell what's inside from shaking it, so the reveal lands every single time."
"It undercuts most branded advent calendars and you keep something usable at the end instead of a pile of cardboard."
"Made a great Secret Santa gift for a colleague. It looked thoughtful and cost less than a generic gift set."
"I've now bought this three years running. It's become the tradition the kids ask about in November."
"I expected filler junk and got none. All 24 are decent-sized, properly slow-rising squishies. No thin, cheap-feeling ones in the whole set."
"I've reused the box as a display shelf for the whole set. No wasted packaging."
"My daughter had exams right up to the 18th and came home flat every night. The calendar became the one thing that wasn't about revision. she would open the day's box before starting homework and it completely reset her mood. By the last exam she was counting down to Christmas instead of dreading the next paper."
